Spring cleaning can go one of two ways, either you absolutely love it and look forward to it or you dread that time of year. Regardless, spring cleaning has to happen and there are some tools that can make it a lot easier and a lot more fun. Spring cleaning not only gets your home to a place where it is easier to maintain but it sets a better tone for the rest of the year!

Vacuum Cleaner

One of the most common household cleaning staples is of course a vacuum cleaner. It’s best to invest in a good vacuum cleaner that has multiple attachments to reach areas without strain. Homeowners tend to like the cordless vacuums such as the Dyson that comes with multiple attachments so they can get floors, baseboards, furniture, and ceilings vacuumed in a breeze!

Dusters

Dusters are a great cleaning tool to clean shades, lamps, shelving, and light fixtures. There are many options when it comes to duster where you can have a simple short handle or an extended handle to reach those hard to reach areas like ceiling fans. Spring cleaning time is a great time to make sure the blades of your ceiling fans are clean and an extended handle can make this task a lot more simple.

Steamer

Although a steamer isn’t always necessary it can make household chores a lot easier. Steamers can be used for more than just getting wrinkles out of laundry but can also help cut through soap scum on shower doors or sanitizing your upholstery.

Microfiber Cloths

Microfiber cloths are some of the best cleaning tools you can invest in. Most of them are fairly cost-efficient and come in packs of more than one. These cloths are very effective for polishing wood, cleaning glass, and wiping counters without leaving behind any type of residue like paper towels are known to do.

Glass Spray Bottles

Glass spray bottles can come in handy whether you want to make some of your own cleaners with essential oils or even getting a concentrate from the store to save money. These bottles are great for labeling your cleaners and keeping them organized as well as more uniform instead of having to keep up with many mismatched products.

Bucket or Caddy

Having at least one bucket or caddy can make spring cleaning easier. Homeowners have been known to have multiple caddies labeled for each room and cleaners organized into these caddies to make a great grab and go cleaning buckets. Cleaning can become a lot easier if you label caddies by room and you can just grab the one you need to go room by room for a top to bottom clean.

A Great Mop

A lot of people take their mop for granted or just run out and buy a random one off the shelf without a second thought. Never underestimate the power of a great mop! One of the most popular mops to date is a spin style mop. Not only does it come with a larger bucket to carry your water but it comes with a spinning strainer so you’re not left with an over-saturated floor all while keeping it amazingly clean!
